Features of Steam Traps

The BXFM cast iron inverted bucket steam trap is renowned for its high efficiency, energy savings, low acquisition cost, and long service life. It is highly versatile and suitable for low-pressure main steam pipelines and various types of heat exchangers.

Equipped with the BXFM anti-water hammer and anti-break water seal check valve, rigorous on-site testing over three years has proven its significant effectiveness in resisting water hammer and preventing water seal breakage.

The top cover features an inspection port where an inspection valve can be installed to immediately determine whether the steam trap is functioning properly upon opening.

It performs drip discharge under low load, intermittent discharge under medium load, and continuous discharge under full load.

Different throttle orifices are available to maintain a certain drainage capacity under varying pressures. It is resistant to dirt, with small particle impurities flushed out through the top throttle orifice. Non-condensable gases are discharged throughout operation. It has strong backpressure resistance, making it suitable for recovery systems. Not suitable for superheated steam. Accessories can be added according to customer requirements, and spare parts are supplied. Components are made of stainless steel and hardened chrome steel valve seats, ensuring wear and corrosion resistance.

Accessories for Steam Traps

Dirt Line—A stainless steel wire connected to the cover, passing through the inverted bucket exhaust hole to prevent oil and dirt from clogging the exhaust hole.

Temperature Sensor—A temperature sensor can be installed at the front end of the filter screen to monitor internal temperature changes of the steam trap, helping to determine its operational status. It can be added to the BX980 series and BX990 series.
